Missing Annie Lee was co-produced by two Twitch channels comprised of tabletop roleplaying professionals: Salty Sweet Games and Off_theTable. They held a successful fundraiser for the project and were able to pay all cast and crew. Salty Sweet Games: Kienna Shaw & Lauren Erwin, Off_theTable: Summer Matthews.

Artist Statement

Missing Annie Lee is a Fear Itself actual play podcast told in two parts with two different GMs and some recurring characters. It's a supernatural mystery tale in which we lean into the horror and play to find out what happens. Arc One "Vanishing" takes place in 2008 and follows a group of high schoolers as they try to find out what happened to their missing friend Annie Lee. Arc Two "Reunion" picks up ten years later when the survivors return to their hometown because Annie Lee has made a miraculous reappearance -- and she hasn't aged a day. Our inspirations included Knives & Skin, IT, and Twin Peaks. The file attached is from part one of our finale. We picked it because we feel it has some of the deepest horror and best performances of the run. Thank you for your consideration.
