Director Biography - Taytum Blake

TAYTUM✰ is an emerging Los Angeles based director. Her current thing is making narrative films, commercials, and music videos about chaos, creation, and women who rob. Having a background in photography, she honed her skills as a production manager on music videos for major labels such as Warner Records, Surfdog Records, and Universal Music Group before going to film school, and establishing herself as a director. Known for infusing her films with a youthful and rebellious tone, she delves into thought-provoking subjects like religion, sexuality, and motherhood. Beyond directing, she finds fulfillment in 1st AD work, sipping on rum and diet coke, and engaging in the occasional super-chill game of mafia. Find her on most things @taytumblake
