Director Biography - Mateus Rosa Silva

Mateus Almeida is a filmmaker, photographer, super-artist, performer, tattoo artist, VJ and currently has a collaborative local art store. Brazilian from São Paulo, actually living in Chapada dos Veadeiros, he lives in the village of São Jorge and there has been researching underwater photography since 2014 and dancing in the water for over a year, participating and performing artistic residencies focused on butoh dance and cinema. Super 8mm filmmaker, since 2015 he has been developing an experimental narrative / documentary / video art and dance, where he explores expanded cinema in his cinematographic experimentalism with sounding performances of her live films.
