Minna Långström is a filmmaker from Helsinki, Finland. Her work focuses on social and speculative perspectives on mediated narratives and visual technologies. Her most recent film, the one hour documentary The Other Side of Mars premiered at the DocPoint Film festival in Helsinki and have been screened at film festivals, such as Bergen International Film Festival and Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival where it won the Testimony on Knowledge - award in October 2019. Her other films and animations have been selected for festivals such as Helsinki International Film Festival, Uppsala and Buffalo Film Festivals, art film festivals such as Busan Art Film Festival, and science film festivals, such as the prestigious International Festival of Science Documentary Films Academia Film Olomouc.

Her practice also includes multi screen film installations which have been exhibited at prestigious museums such as Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art in Helsinki and Frankfurter Kunstverein. She has worked as a producer of short films and as assistant professor in Moving Image at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki, 2008-2012.
