Minds Behind the Screen
The series is a showcase of 5 different key people who work in the film / creative industry who are the minds responsible for the backbone of some Filipino favorite local movies, TV shows, and ads. They will be delving into their initial entry to the industry and experiences along the way, up to where they are now and their hopes for the future. Every stage of their stories lie where it all began for them and their struggles that helped them get to where they are now.

Jed Regala is a filmmaker and cinematographer, specializing in documentary filmmaking, photography, commercials and campaigns.He started photography in 2007 and have worked his way to the mastery of the craft until 2014 when he got his first assignment as a cinematographer for a documentary film, Fields of Hope - Story of hope (Tacloban Typhoon Haiyan survivors) which won the International Documentary Award in the Manhattan film festival.
Since then he has been shooting documentaries with different productions, worked as a director of photography for an international award winning documentary program - Front Row for GMA News and Public Affairs.
He has worked with a number of international organisations, Word Bank, ADB, Oxfam UK, Childfund International, Save The Children, ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity, CNN Japan, National Geographic, Nutrition International (CA), Terre des Hommes (Netherlands), TFC among others for their film / photography requirements.
This series is a celebration of Filipino filmmakers and artists whose works transcend their craft and inspire the younger generation.
Our goal is to show and give hope that the production/film industry, through the unique perspective of different artists, can be something aspiring filmmakers can reach for through hard work and perseverance.
