Mindfield Film Festival - Albuquerque, is part of the Mindfield Festival circuit.
Albuquerque (home of Breaking Bad, Netflix Studios and more) has a thriving film community that shines bright in the sunny Land of Enchantment.

Mindfield - Albuquerque showcases: Features, Shorts, and Music videos by filmmakers from around the world. We celebrate and support Independent, new, and Alternative filmmakers; not just during our annual Film Festival but throughout the year with our bi-monthly online competitions.

Winners of our bi-monthly online competition move up a tier to "Finalist" and are then added to a pool which will later be considered by a different panel to possibly screen at our annual festival.

Mindfield aims to show the very best in new independent cinema and to give filmmakers a place to show their work to people who appreciate it.

BI-MONTHLY ONLINE COMPETITIONS:
Each bi-month we give filmmakers the opportunity to submit their latest work and compete with others. Any project submitted to Mindfield - Albuquerque will automatically be entered into the bi-monthly competition. Projects are not screened during the bi-monthly competition.

A Selection (Semi-Finalist) for the bi-monthly competition is not an Official Selection to the Annual Live Festival.

As stated above, each bi-monthly winner (Finalist) will be added to a pool (the next tier) to be considered for possible "official Selection" and screening at our annual Film Festival. Every winner of the bi-monthly competition will receive a digital laurel.

ANNUAL FILM FESTIVAL:
The annual live screening is a separate entity from the bi-monthly competition. A different panel will make their selection for the live screening from the winners (Finalist) pool of the bi-monthly competition.

All projects screened at the Live Festival will compete with each other. The winners of the Live Festival will be announced at the Awards Ceremony.

Although I was unable to make the film in person this year, this was a friendly, professional festival to deal with, good communication and I was happy my film 'Switching Lanes' was selected as a finalist in the short documentary category.
