Mina Laamo is a Documentary Filmmaker, Director, Screenwriter and Producer. She graduated from the Department of Film, Television and Scenography of the Aalto University with a Master of Arts (Art and Design) degree, majoring in Documentary Film, in 2015. Before, in 2012, she obtained a Master of Arts degree, majoring in Comparative Literature and Gender Studies, from the University of Helsinki. In addition to working as a screenwriter and director in her own films and media art, Laamo worked at Avanton Productions Oy from 2008 to 2015: as a Producer and Production manager and in charge of communications and marketing. Since early 2017 she has worked at the production company of her own: Koko Production Oy.
