Milla-Kariina Oja (b. 1976, Oulu) is a visual artist who currently lives and works in Helsinki. Her work navigates between photography and moving image. Recently she has worked with spatial video installations that often include performative elements. Oja studied and worked for the first 15 years of her carreer in England, Spain and China. Her works have been exhibited in galleries, art centers and museums around Europe and China, among others at the Three Shadows Photography Art Centre in Beijing, Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona and Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova The museum of Contemporary Art, Turku, Finland. Her latest work Stone under the Moon was exhibited first time in Gallery Forum Box, Helsinki, June 2022.
