Director Statement

Milkweed is a story about black healing. It was created in the spirit of writing works that explore the familial trauma that often wrecks havoc in our communities and most importantly envisioning the conditions of how we can get over them. I'm so proud to present this story that is so near and dear to me and the team of beautiful artist souls that produced it. Thank you so much for your consideration.
