Miles Guichard is a writer, director, and actor from the Southside of Chicago. He strives to tell authentic black stories that present a social commentary that resonates with the audience. As the winner of the Flip the Script Filmmaking Fellowship, he made his directorial debut at 20 years old on the self-written comedy, short film, "Just In Time". As an advocate for black creatives, Guichard created the short film, "Just In Time", alongside a crew made up completely of all black youth from Chicago's Southside, as well as a camera crew of all black girls. Miles has graduated from Howard University and his final film at the University "I Always Have" was written and directed by him and was shot and edited by a crew of all black undergraduate Howard film students.
