The film follows an ordinary individual on the verge of realizing a long-held dream—admission to IIT Bombay. Just as success seems within reach, tragedy strikes with the loss of someone profoundly dear, a constant presence and pillar of support throughout his life. This poignant duality of achievement and grief forms the core of the film’s exploration of the father-son bond, examining the themes of love, loss, and the bittersweet paradox of life’s most pivotal moments.
Pendam's innovative use of animation, combined with his finely honed storytelling craft, deepens the film’s emotional impact. His meticulous attention to detail and visionary approach to narrative structure results in a cinematic experience that evokes universal themes of hope, grief, and the enduring power of familial connections.
