Mika Kubo is a Mexican-Japanese-American actress and writer. She studied Peace and Conflict Studies and Media Studies at UC Berkeley. She was selected as a writer finalist for NBC’s Nosotros monologue competition for her piece “Nothing to Declare.” Her work addresses themes of identity, immigration and intersectionality.

She is currently filming Apple TV’s first Spanish series, Ambulancias.
