While there is still jungle left

Amado cut twenty-five trees a day during the seven years he was a logger. Yadira grew up under the concept that, being a woman, her opportunities were restricted to household duties, but she desired to do much more. Both live in the province of Esmeraldas, near the Canandé River in the lowlands of Ecuador's Chocó rainforest. Despite living in a reality where the sources of income are mainly extractive, both have found ways to conserve the jungle in which they live. This documentary gives us a glimpse into how their perspective of the forest has changed.
