Director Biography - Olivia Benedict, Griff Orme

Olivia Benedict is a New York City and Austin-based actress, comedian, producer, director and writer. Olivia fell in love with performing and storytelling as a child and has dedicated her life to it ever since. She is a producer and host of a live dating game show called 'Love is Live' the show has been a big hit in New York City with consistent monthly sold-out shows at the Peoples Improv Theater. You can also catch Olivia performing improvisation and hosting shows with her comedy duo "Your Ex-girlfriends" at Caveat NYC, The Peoples Improv Theater, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, and more. Olivia played "Ashley" in the short film 'Yester-Year' which is currently in the festival circuit. Since graduating from Michael Howard Studios' Second-Year Acting Conservatory this past winter, she wrote, starred, and produced two comedic short films. Olivia's first short film is called 'Hot Mess!' and is currently getting submitted to festivals as well as her second short film 'Midway'. She is excited to create more stories and study Shakespeare at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts Summer Shakespeare conservatory this summer.
