Michaela Wadzinski is an American filmmaker. Michaela's passion for storytelling stemmed from many late nights discussing movies with her brother in her hometown of Sioux City, Iowa. While her dedication has always been to animation, she found a second love in live-action film-making and can often be found using both mediums. She loves to tell character-driven stories with a lot of heart and a healthy dash of comedy. Her short film "Negative Spaces" won the Ron Clements Award for Excellence in Animation in 2018. The shorts she's directed have been in over 60 film festivals around the world.
