Director Biography - Mariana Tames Vargas

Mariana graduated from Iberoamericana College with a special degree in cinema. Right after she graduated she started working in her first documentary feature film The poet of the ring, which it took three years to finish. It premiered at the DOCSMX 2021 (Mexico Cities Documentary Films Festival) then it had it's international premier at FIDBA 2021 (Buenos Aire's Documentary Film Festival). At the same time she was working in the post production of her first short film Mia is not alone.
