NOTE: Back in 2022 we added an important (OPTIONAL) distribution opportunity -- IF your film does well on one of our streaming platforms (Roku, or FireTV, or RlaxxTV/WhaleEco) then if you like we will submit it to our Broadcast partners where the exposure is to over 40 million "Antenna TV" viewers in 30 markets in the USA.

A SUCCESS STORY...
Alexander Pimentel, Director of "Down River" streamed his feature film on Metro's Connected TV Channel, "Movies Plus" on Amazon Fire TV. After 6 months and 70,000 downloads, Alex shared the news with a Venture capitalist who agreed to finance Alex's next feature film.

The Metro TV & Film Awards are International and support most every type of content from across the globe. However, we accept only ENGLISH SPEAKING (DIALOG) submissions only. Subtitles will NOT meet our requirements.

A content's Release Window(s) is not a determining factor for consideration in the Festival. Metro aims to encourage filmmakers, rather than looking for methods of exclusion.

ABOUT THIS FEST!
We accept all ENGLISH SPEAKING (No Subtitles) genres and types, however to stream your content on our APPS/Channels, your submission must be family friendly. We do not place (every) film submission on (every) one of our channels.

FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS -- STREAMING ON OUR PLATFORM (OUTSIDE OF THIS FEST) IS YOUR OPTION.

No nudity, graphic adult language. We prefer Family Friendly content, especially content that is acceptable for FCC regulations as well as Foreign streaming regulations.

See the following Points 1-4 if you're interested in having your content streamed on our Connected TV Channels.

HOW TO DELIVER YOUR VIDEO TO US (FOR "WINNERS" WHO OPT TO HAVE YOUR CONTENT STREAMED ON OUR PLATFORM OUTSIDE OF THIS FESTIVAL.)

1.) Winners: To have your film broadcast on our platforms, we require an MP4 or H264 video. Note that we will watch your video via your link, but in order to download the file we ask that you make it under 4GB.
*Send/share your video to us via Google Drive, or Dropbox, etc.
*WE DO NOT DOWNLOAD FROM YOUTUBE or DAILYMOTION or MOST FREE VIDEO SHARING SITES!

2.) Winners: Prepare a 1280w x 720H image, rather than the usual poster size. Save it as a (.jpg) please. Please keep it around 100k file size.

3. Winners: Prepare a 1-2 sentence description of your film. You may INCLUDE your URL.

4. Winners: You must own the content you submit and accept responsibility for all clearance, music-rights etc. You may stream your film for a ( minimum of 1 ) month. We do not claim any rights to your content. You retain all rights. Content must be yours, no Public Domain mashups or stolen/borrowed content please.

5. LAST THING TO DO: Email your content from points 1-4 to Dean at metrofilmfestival@gmail.com
