Director Statement

Simply speaking, I took up the subject because of the challenge of the amazing costume designed and made by the designer and my friend Mira Matchina. Inspired me to place the character in a costume in the space of a nineteenth-century orthodox church near Chisinau in Moldavia from the time of Tsar Mikolaj II. The place of magic and surreal emphasizes the story of a Cocoon Woman.
