Metafashion
A peaceful night in the rainforest, with one deer roaming around. Smelling flowers and grazing grass. He goes near the river to have water. The emissive shapes start to appear from under the water with models inside them. They start to line up, floating over the water. Reflections are visible.
One by one all of them buzz off towards the main forest area. Here we see them lining up with close-up shots of clothes displayed individually.
The virtual hands are seen doing the magic. They are picking the nature elements from the surroundings and throwing them towards the models in the form of particles. They start floating around their bodies.
The show is seen through the oculus of a designer, being orchestrated by a designer who lives in the forest and finds inspiration around her. The deer is seen like in a fantasy world, all colourful and glowing/flying.
We see different kinds of oculus making purchases of fashion clothes.
When the show ends, holograms of buyers wearing oculus, line up to applaud at the designer. Line up of all the models also floating in the air.
All lights disappear, the show ends and the designer removes her oculus. As she takes a deep breath, a message notification comes. Appreciation messages start pouring in from all over the world and she checks them on her futuristic floating hologram device.
Since we are moving towards sustainability with virtual fashion, the idea is to show nature and hi-tech future co-existing.

I’m a visual artist who is exploring the convergence of various visual mediums. Starting out as a CG lighting artist in 2004, I worked on various international productions and gained critical technical and creative experience working with various studios. Curious to also learn live-action photography I diversified into being a portrait, fashion and a landscape photographer and pursued Masters degree in Creative Media from RMIT Melbourne in 2008. For the last 12 years I was working as Head of Department teaching CG Lighting and Photography to Animation, Photography and Filmmaking students, developing successful academic photography modules for private institutes in Mumbai and Goa.
Always being attracted to new technologies, I’ve now started a new chapter of upgrading myself to the evolving metaverse, and want to use my CG, Photography and life experience to upskill in unreal and creating unique immersive experiences.
