Message in a Dance

Whitney choreographs a dance number as her tribute to her childhood friend who grew up with physical abuse in her family.

The dance is her showcase piece in her dance company's semester-end concert. Her dancer friends grow into the emotional roles she has given them. The stories of a dysfunctional abusive household 20 years ago, and a happy dance company today relating that old story in Whitney's dance, run alongside each other.
