Sean is a graduate of the Ringling College of Art and Design Digital Film program. He has directed commercial spots for high profile clients such as Sony, Science Diet, Post Foods, HP and more. In addition to commercial work, he has directed several popular music videos including the science parody from Jessie Hendricks, “Pi Pi Pi,” and Sam Kiles' hit single “Delay.” Sean is also one third of the popular film and tv podcast “The UnPOP Podcast” and directs their web-series “The UnPOP Podshow.” Most recently he co-founded Accidental Jacket Entertainment which specializes in short form comedy, narrative features and music videos. Their first production, directed by Sean, entitled “Poop At Your Place,” is a comedic music video breaking down gender stereotypes by singing about bowel movements.
Laura Hartley, who brilliantly stars in and wrote this short first approached me, somewhat ironically I guess, with a text — “I wrote a short, wanna direct it?” “Uh, duh,” I said yes, but little did I know how important texting would be to this story. You see, Laura’s fears in an apocalyptic future don’t involve zombies, global warming, or even nuclear fallout. Oh no, her fears for the future of humanity lie in a deeper fear for the human race, one rooted in the men of this generation, and hopefully something we can snuff out for future generations. I’m honored to be behind the camera bringing this important message from the future to the present. Hope you enjoy.
