16-year-old young man Lin (major character) is forced to join a group of swimming teammates in the bullying of his own boyfriend, just because the boyfriend is found to be special. Out of pressure from studies and disappointment of such betrayal by Lin, the boyfriend decided to commit suicide.

Later, in a swimming match, Lin is thinking about his lost boyfriend all the time, as he cannot walk out of the dark shadow. This eventually causes him to bump his head in the wall of the pool by accident. He chooses to expel all the air from his lungs, watching the bubbles rising to the water surface. As he sinks to the bottom of the water, he recalls a lot of things.
