Memory Induced
Memory Induced opens with the blueness of a water surface and a distorted voice of a narrator, who, thinking about his own transience, opens up the field of the existential. The work of art open to interpretation, at its core, juxtaposes the images of civilisation and nature. It can be read very concretely, tied to a particular time and place. However, it can also be taken as one's memory, which is already in the process of fading and will eventually disappear entirely. Since the video was made in Warsaw during a rather turbulent period, it comes as no surprise that it captures the footage of mass protests against further violations of human rights – of women.
