Meli Melo
“Meli Melo” paints a portrait of a mixed group of young friends in the big city. Stuck in a daily routine of hanging out, they talk more about their future than they actually work on it. Each individual struggles with a search for identity, ambitions and a place in this modern society.

Biography Julian Wolf
Julian Wolf was born on 5th of December 1990 in Amsterdam.
Growing up in a cultural family I was travelling around the world seeing lots of different museums. Telling my mother for the first time I wanted to be a film director in front of the Trevi Fountain in Rome at the age of 12, it became a point of exploitations. Since that moment I started making small experimental videos with friends. After High school I attended LUCA Arts- Sint Lukas in 2012 to start a bachelor of Film.
Mostly inspired by music, sports and action, in the course of my development as filmmaker, my focus shifted to interpersonal dynamics, and the way you can tell a story to the viewers.
I find it important that it’s visually attractive, and the storyline keeps you busy. Realistic dialogues and entertaining sequences. I like that the camera can be used as a tool which you as an artist can create with and try to explore what is visually. Combine realism with abstraction, cause with film it is all possible. Throughout the schoolyears lots of different film genres became an inspiration.
After graduating in 2014 I went back to Amsterdam to attend an internship at VICE Media. Learning more about Commercial videos and Documentary’s at an international business model.
Currently I am doing Master at the Sint Lukas Film School in Brussels, and hoping to push on making shorts, video clips and items about music, sports and human relationships.
