Medvetna
“Medvetna” tells the story of Andreas Krämer, a geologist, who returned to the small village where he was born after working in Berlin for a few years. He works in a forest nearby and one day finds an old skeleton. The police detective Peter Kreier, an old friend of Andreas and his father, is investigating the case. The days after this discovery Andreas feels worse and worse. Some old memories are slowly coming back into his mind. A couple of days later young police detective Markus Trier wants to talk to Andreas to ask him some questions about a deadly accident of Andreas' neighbor. While the detective rolls out more details about the accident and another murder case he's working on, Andreas slowly begins to realize, that he has to be responsible for those two deaths.
Talking to Peter about his skeleton-case, Markus begins to see similarities between the new cases and the old one. After some time it becomes clearer and clearer that Andreas has to be the killer and he is arrested by the police. Shortly after he commits suicide in his prison cell. Affected by Andreas' death, Markus soon discovers, that Andreas can't be responsible for the murders. He rolls out the case from the beginning and finds a personal connection between Peter Kreier and the old case Peter is investigating in.
