Director Biography - Duncan Analco

Duncan Alessandro Analco (born February 2nd, 2001) is a Mexican-American director, writer, producer, editor, photographer, and musician from Durham, North Carolina with a BA in filmmaking from Columbia College Chicago. With a concentration in the avant-garde, his films utilize unconventional storytelling methods such as long takes, slow pacing, and the use of non-professional actors. Much of his work is marked by philosophical elements, realistic surrealism, and an overly poetic view of humanity.

In 2022, he co-founded the independent production company Tumo Works with his frequent collaborator and co-producer, Shiloh Tumo Washington.
