Mawindo. The drama of the Serengeti

Something is happening in the African savannah… It seems that a new super predator, without fangs or claws, has infiltrated this timeless place turning its residents into easy prey to hunt… with a single shot. In the animal world, there are two types of hunters, those who hunt for survival and those who hunt for fun, yet they all depend on “Mawindo” a word that in Swahili means “the one who is going to be hunted”, commonly known as “prey”. This documentary brings a new look to the classic conception of hunters and preys: a change of protagonists to reveal how the victims who inhabit the Serengeti steppe organize, live and feel. A manifestation of its importance, key in all ecosystems, to remind us that without any prey there could not be any hunters.
