Mauro Crivelli is an Italian composer of film and concert music. Born in India, he started to study music at age 12. At the age of 18, he devoted himself to composing. He studied at the Accademia Chigiana for four years under the teaching of Luis Bacalov (Academy Award winner), and spent another three additional years studying Orchestration and Conducting School. He successfully attended a meeting with a composer Dario Marianelli at the Royal Albert Hall Accademy in London in 2013. Mauro’s film career extends back to 2009 with a score for a short for NABA Academy in Milan. Over the course of six years, he composed music for such films and documentaries as “Lovebird-Rebel Lover in India” an award-winner in several International Film Festivals, “Charity” an independent film, produced and directed by Connie Lamothe for which he received an Award for Best Original score at the WMIFF Festival in Washington DC, and other such films as “Due Splendidi Attori”, “The Last Day of Winter” and “Satyagraha”, as well as many others. Crivelli also composed a special musical performance for Biennale Arte 2010 in Venice with the artist Solidea Ruggiero. Among his honors, Crivelli has won the Best Original Score at the Film Festival in Bari for the documentary “Bread and Iron” directed by Dareen Hassan and presented at various film festivals around the world. Mauro is currently is working on a new score for “Torment”, a horror movie.

He also recive in October 2017 an important Award from Hollywood Reporter Press for the Best Original Score for An Horror movie Shanda’s River, and other 3 nominations for other European Film Festival.
In 2018 he won other award: Best Original Score at Nazareth Film Festival. And Finalist at the European Cinematography Awards (ECA) Warsaw Poland, and Amercian TracksMusic Awards in Los Angeles.
He also scored in early 2018 an interesting Indie Film for BBC 2 and an important Horror Movie released in theaters and now on Amazon Prime Video Usa and Europe.
He actualy scoring an upcoming thriller that will be released for early 2019 in the theaters.
