Matt Bartolomeo found his love of film at the age of 14 when he first saw Star Wars and Night of the Living Dead for the first time. A year later, Matt would co-write and direct his first short film The Safeguard with his childhood friends. In 2021, Matt would reunite with his childhood friend, Lee Cipolla, to direct second unit on Lee's Rally Caps (with Judd Hirsch and Amy Smart). Shortly after, Matt would make a guest appearance on Expedition Unknown with Josh Gates. The combined experiences of Rally Caps and Expedition Unknown would give Matt the confidence to write, produce, direct and co-star in his first feature film Dream.
