Matrirupena - the Mother Incarnation

The aftermath and turmoil of a pack rape inflicted upon both the families of the victim and miscreants. The mother of one of the miscreants is an humble traditional house wife with a strong sense of Indian family values. She upholds womanhood over motherhood. She appears to be the mother of the victim girl who was in mission to uplift school drop outs. The large short film ends with a positive message.

Director Biography - Parijat Pallab Biswas

An one-act and full length proscenium theater activist. Winner of number of best Director's award for theaters in 90s. Directed a Bengali Teleplay in 1999 title being - Kothaye Gelo (Where those days are gone). Directed Bengali feature drama film - Cinemaye Nei (Not in Cinema) in March, 2017. 'Matrirupena - the Mother Incarnation' completed in December, 2018. Currently a feature drama is in the making.
