I’m Maryam Abdulghaffar. I picked up my first camera at the age of 9 years old, and have been attached to it ever since. I love capturing the true essence of things and showcase them through my lens.

My curious nature and passion for photography landed me some unique opportunities to showcase my work and be part of some exciting projects. My earliest exposure was when I was undergoing my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Toledo (USA) (2009-2013), I was selected to complete a three months photography program of which, I was able to land three independent photography projects at Ohio State. I became the recipient of an international award from “Chromatic Award” with honors twice. Received an honorable mention in food photography category in 2020 and an honorable mentioned in in fashion photography in 2021.

My passion grew into directing movies. My goal is to prepare films of the unseen.
