Martina Fluck was born in 1963, grew up in Dusseldorf Germany and studied at the University of Television and Film HFF in Munich documentary director. After graduating, she founded YUCCA Filmproduktion in 1989, initially with cameraman Jürgen Hoffmann. Today she is the sole managing director of the production company, which has its headquarters in Hamburg and Heide / Holstein. There are numerous documentaries for television and cinema. The thematic focus of the documentary work rests on the designed portrait film. In addition, she is involved in the professional association Arbeitsgemeinschaft Dokumentarfilm AGDOK and today, together with Susanne Stenner, is responsible for the association's work in northern Germany. Since 2001, she has also been producing industrial and advertising films. In addition to her cinematographic work, she has been Festival Director of the Short Film Festival Kunstgriffrolle in Heide / Holstein since 2005 and moderated by the Nordic Film Days Lübeck.
