I have only had two passions in life: Lego and films. I no longer play with Legos, so I have more time for films.
I am a Toronto-based director who loves making narrative short films and experimenting with the narrative format.
I started making short films when I was 11 with a camera from Lego Studios. I had a little Spielberg Lego figure and a Lego Studios Guide to directing. I learned a lot from that book and by making shorts with friends. As I grew up and entered the real world, I studied at film school in London. I then moved to Prague, where the reality of adulthood led me to turn my passion into a freelance business. I progressively worked my way up through the various facets of movie sets, video sets, and post-production houses until I re-emerged as a director, becoming the filmmaker I dreamed of being as a kid.
At the age of 30, I became a commercial director, making commercials for Ford, HP, Sleep Country, and others. Now based in Canada, I continue expanding my commercial portfolio while also making short films and passion projects. I am on a continuous journey of telling stories, sharing ideas through film, and creating, creating, creating—something I have loved since childhood and never stopped.
