Mohammad Forouzani (writer name Martin Foroz) is an Iranian fiction and non-fiction writer currently living in Oman as an expatriate English Language and Literature professor with a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature. Martin has written four stage plays that are on simultaneous submissions to contests and theater houses, and is currently seeking producers for his feature spy-thriller that has been announced Nominee at Swiss Alpenglow International Film Festival 2024. He is a frequent contributor to Substack by his comparative essays and critiques on plays and films. Martin published several English poems in literary magazines, authored three poetry collections and completed three novels. Some of his short poems and one of his verse dramas “The Confessing Song of Mr. Head” in video format are available on his YouTube page. His imagist poem “To My Reader” was also performed on stage by the Iran-Germany Theater Group in Nürenberg in August 2023.
