Marta is a Technician in Conducting Physical and Sports Activities in the Natural Environment, Graduated in Photography and Digital Creation and Postgraduate in Advanced Audiovisual Postproduction from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
She works as a nature and audiovisual photography teacher, and specializes in landscape astrophotography, topics on which she teaches courses and workshops in private and public institutions, such as the Center for Image and Multimedia Technology of the UPC or Casanovafoto, among others. .
She is a teacher and photographic travel guide at INDOMITUS, from where she organizes the trips and expeditions "Bialowieza: on the trail of the European bison" (Poland), "Arctic fox expedition (summer)" (Iceland), "Hidden jewels of the Highlands" (Iceland) and “Lapland: the wildest corner of Europe” (Sweden), in addition to organizing theoretical-practical courses and smaller-scale photographic excursions.
She is a member of the Spanish Association of Nature Photographers (AEFONA), the Catalan Society of Nature Photographers (SCFN) and has collaborated with associations and entities related to photography and nature, as well as its conservation and dissemination.
He has participated in collective and own exhibitions and is author of two books.
She is also the author or co-author of 8 adventure films, filmed during her personal expeditions to northern Iceland, Lapland, Pakistan and Alaska.
She has participated in symposiums and conferences where she gives talks on various topics, always related to photographic travel, the night landscape, nature photography, the realization of audiovisual projects or the self-publishing of various printed works.
She has won several mentions and awards in prestigious photography and video contests. Her images have also been published in some magazines such as Lonely Planet, National Geographic Travel, Terre Sauvage, Vertex and Descobrir Catalunya.
