295th day of protest. Hasia, an activist, lives on the blockage that stops logging of preacious, old forest on Polish outskirts. She has to confront state politics, locals’ hostility and spartan conditions. The fight over this small part of Carpatihia mountains turns into a fight over brighter future.

Piotr Bakuła was born in 1999 and currently studies psychology at Warsaw University. He’s also a documentary filmmaker and climate activist. He was a part of the jury at the Kino w Trampkach festival in Warsaw and the InScience film festival in Nijmegen. He has made documentaries such as: Movie about the Frying Pan (2020) and Mark in the color of orange (2023). He himself was also featured in the documentary Polish Self-Portrait (2021). He is currently an editor at the polish branch of Greenpeace and a co-founder of the AEGEE antenna at the UW, where he is also a member of the Safe Person Committee. Previously, he edited programs at Tele5 and interned at the Niebieska Linia, the hotline for victims of domestic abuse. His additional passions are cults and the psychology of religion.
