An ambitious creator with an impressive academic foundation, Mark holds a BA in Film and Television. He started his storytelling career as an NBC Photojournalist and has honed his screenwriting and joke-telling skills through prestigious programs such as the UCLA Writers Extension Program, and American Film Institute (AFI), along with mentorships from industry luminaries including Playhouse Pictures’ Ted Woolery, WGA writer Sheree Guitar, legendary comedy coaches, Steve & Barb North, and story-structure expert Blake Synder.
Mark spent the last several years as a Story Consultant to various companies including Infinitum Nilhil.
His scripts routinely place in the top ten of contests including the Austin Film Festival, Table Read My Screenplay and Table Read My Screenplay Genre, including 5 finalist finishes in Filmmatic Screenplay contest and in the Filmmatic Horror, Sci-Fi, Drama, and Comedy categories.
