His criticallt aclaimed short "The Resurrection of Spring" won the Golden Remi Award for best film at World Film Festival Houston.

A student of the 50s and 60s Japanese cinema. Influenced by directors such as Yasujiro Ozu, Hiroshi Teshigahara, Masaki kobayashi, Masahiro Shinoda, Kihachi Okamoto, Kaneto Shindo and Korosawa.
