Hi I'm Marisela, I'm a first generation Mexican-American actor now filmmaker. I grew up in a small town in Southern CA. My parents and three brothers immigrated to the U.S. in the mid-70's and I was born shortly after. I went back to school when I was 35 years old to get my BFA in Acting.
My path has been slow and circuitous for a few reasons not least of which is growing up poor in an immigrant household without any idea of how to make a life in the arts. I've worked really hard to get myself to where I am today. I'm 45 years old, at the beginning of my career and I am so grateful.
