Marie Christin König was born in the golden east of Germany and spent many years at the Magdeburg Theater. After graduating from high school, she spent a crazy year at the Kleines Theater Bad Godesberg/Bonn, where she worked as an assistant director, actress and ticket seller. In 2013, she moved to Hildesheim to study scenic arts (media, literature and art). This strange endeavor was interrupted by internships in Baden-Baden at SWR (directing internship "Tatort Stuttgart") and the Bild und Tonfabrik in Cologne (internship production design "Gute Arbeit Originals"). One day I had enough of assisting and the North called with a degree in directing at the Hamburg Media School. She graduated with a grade of "very good", which compensated her parents and grandmother for the sweat and anxiety during her A-levels. She is based in Berlin as a freelance screenwriter and director.
