Mar from Marisa

Marisa, after waking up to a call from her mother, finds herself in an inner immersion amidst mysterious events. She is startled by a strange sound of the sea, something unusual since she moved to her husband's city.
As Marisa investigates the source of the sound, she discovers that her bedroom door mysteriously transports her to a beach in her hometown. Involuntarily drawn to the sea, she walks until she drowns in a complex of agony.

Director Biography - Gabriela Morbeck Gama

Gabriela Morbeck, a photographer and audiovisual creator from Salvador, has been developing her skills since 2019 in directing, cinematography, video capture, and editing. She has worked on advertising projects, music videos, and events. She also served as a screenwriter and director for the short film "Mar de Marisa" and worked as a cinematographer and producer on a documentary short film currently in post-production. She will complete her Audio and Video Production training in 2023 and has enhanced her skills with courses such as "Introduction to Digital Marketing" (EBAC, 2023) and "Computer Graphics" (School of Art, Game, and Animation, 2010-2013). Additionally, she has gained knowledge in "Commercialization and Distribution for the Audiovisual Industry" through SEBRAE and has participated in workshops across various areas of the audiovisual field.
