We invite both aspiring and seasoned filmmakers to submit films for our Film Festival. We show 90 minutes of film genres of Comedy, Drama, Documentary, Animation, and Music Video, each ranging up to 15 minutes. We accept films from all over the world.
Film Festival works are intended to show the many ways that film and video can be used as an art form to inform and express. They are not commercial films of the sort that you can find in your standard multiplex.
The Film Festival is both an outdoor/indoor event that will hold one of its screenings at Crocker Park, above Marblehead harbor as a background, and one at Abbot Public Library during the July 4th celebration of the Marblehead Festival of Arts. For the Library showing, we invite filmmakers to a Q&A session after the showing.
