Mara's cry for Rain

A Maasai man, his wife, a friend, and a child embark on a journey across the Mara in search of water for the family. He walks to River Osupukia and finds no water. He walks along the Mara, only to see that fellow Maasai crops are dry. His fellow cows are also being eaten by a hyena. He decides to keep heading towards River Olare Lamuuny, where he finds water. They are attacked by a hyena and are left in suspense. We don't know what happened next. Did they survive?
