In Côte d'Ivoire, the vote of the 16 July 2015's law represents an important step for traditional medicine practitioners' recognition and integration in the health system.
The National Program of Traditional Medicine's Promotion in Abidjan is responsible for this sector, it is also the institutional place where bureaucrats and traditional therapists meet.

Director Biography - Véronique Duchesne

I make films to spread anthropological knowledge and also to make archives for those I film in Africa.

I have been making films since I started studying anthropology.
I also teach audio-visual anthropology at University of Paris.

Making films is the best way to spread anthropology and to share it with people we work with
