Maniac

I know baby I can act a little crazay, but I’m tryin ya
Sentimental make you try to understand baby I’m dying yaaaa

But you don’t know me, you don’t want to see
You just got your own agenda, and it’s suddenly without me

And i won’t disagree this time
This is the one thing you got down
it’s now so different in hindsight
Without you being around

Chorus:
Cus you aren’t the only good thing about me
Like you told me
And you always had a new trick up your sleeve
And I never thought that Id be running way too fast into the arms
Of a maniac

Oh my baby you just couldn’t see me shine you had to end that ya
It took a while sippin on gin with Dr. Wine just to get over it

But you don’t know me and thank God you couldn’t seeeee
You just had your special way of breaking down the beautiful things

And i won’t disagree this time
This is the one thing you got right
It’s now so different in hindsight
Without you in my life

Chorus:
Cus you aren’t the only good thing about me
Like you told me
And you always had a new trick up your sleeve
And I never thought that Id be running way too fast into the arms
Of a maniac

Bridge:
I get it you’re so smart
You got the world all figured out
But that doesn’t include when you thought you had control of me

You can’t hurt me anymore
Not even sure what it was for
How did it take so long
To find out I was wrong

Soft Chorus;
Cus you’re not the only good thing about me
Like you told me
And you always had a new trick up your sleeve
And I’m just a girl who’s helpless and lonely like I agreed
But you forgot the good thing about meeeee

Cus youre not the only good thing about me
And you always had a new trick up your sleeve (you always got something)
And I never thought that Id be running way too fast into the arms
Of a maniac

This song is meant to depict the struggles of trying to figure out the reality of a toxic relationship.

I wanted to exhibit the internal struggle that happens when your are faced with the kind of person who is bent on spinning issues around on you instead of going to the route of the problem. You may constantly feel as though you truly are the bad guy because this person insists that you are, and so you lose sight of whether or not you are the perpetrator or the victim. The success of the relationship exists only in its elimination.
