Mangrove flavors and sea stories
Nothing more everyday than eating.
This community documentary addresses food practices that are on the verge of disappearing due to the globalization of life:
the relationship with the environment to obtain resources in the area, cooking in clay and a Manabita oven, and food intake as a collective ritual.
This work is built from the narrations of settlers, respecting the Manabita oral tradition.
In addition, this registry proposes to make visible how the entry of shrimp farms and related companies has considerably deteriorated the mangrove forest and many species have disappeared in the area.
