The Central Library in Manchester is home to "The Manchester Indie Film Makers" a group of highly dedicated members who collectively bring together Actors: Script Writers and of course film makers to create and collaborate on new films which capitalises on Manchester's rich and diverse cultural for both theatre and film.

Presentations which take place on the 8th of July from 5.30 pm is your chance to see your film on the big screen will take place in the prestigious Manchester Central Library in the newly renovated performance space.
Which adjacent to the home of North West Film Archives North West England’s British "Film Institute Mediatheque" with over 2,000 complete films and TV programme's, which includes more than 100 depicting life in Manchester and the North West.
Manchester Central Library played host to many festivals and literature events it has become one the most sort after venues for cultural brilliance in art , literature and film screenings...make sure you book your place for fantastic night.

Rules for the competition
Winning entrants will be invited to attend screening at the Manchester Central Library on Wednesday 8th July 2015 from 5.30pm - 7.30pm
All film submissions must be sent before 22nd of June 2015 midnight GMT
Submissions can be made to manchesterindiefmg@gmail.com
Sorry we cannot accept submissions on disc or USB stick or external hard drives
Films must be submitted in a recognised format example mpeg files etc

Best Script
Best actor
Best actress
Best director
Best production
Best Sound
All entrants must be over the age of 18 years or above.
All films must be no more then 20 minutes duration including opening and closing credits. Any submission which fails this remit will be disqualified.
You must give a brief description of the films content ( no more then 50 words max ) together with the time duration of your film / name of the director.
Foreign language films must be provided with English subtitles
All selections are made by the judges are absolute. (We cannot give individual feedback)
Entering any film you are bound by the rules of competition :
No film is to contain pornographic element or sexual harassment.
Incite racial prejudiced:
Promote criminal activity
Defamatory remarks of other institutions and countries.
