Manama
An art-house music video that explores identity and belonging by following an enigmatic protagonist on a trippy inner quest to find her truth.
Passing through different sets and settings in a dreamy state, she intuits about a place - somewhere called Manama - where she really belongs. Her current life is constructed on reminiscences of it, but she is trapped in a reality she hasn't chosen.
She asks herself, “Do you remember Manama?” - trying to grab hold of that feeling of being where you ought to be.
Manama represents the universal experience we all go through at some point in our lives, trying to find out who we really are - rather than who we’ve been told we are. It’s the moment when that cosmic truth cannot be contained any longer - and the profound need to let it happen.
