Man

A man suffers from the death of his girlfriend. He descends into madness and begins talking to her in his head until his mind splits and he talks to a different version of himself. He finds out she is not dead but rather she broke up with him. Once he sees her, he cannot accept that she left him and he chooses to live with her as a potential character in his head.
