Director Statement

In Mamma I have returned to the nature where I grew up, a place that has had and still has an enormous influence on me and the works I do. The nature there for me is not only a harmonic surrounding but also an ambience that possesses something mysterious and almost supernatural. In Mamma have tried to give space to that sublime presence by letting the character loosing himself in nature.
